Guests of the "Slavianski Bazaar" are advised not to forget umbrellas and swimsuits

July 6, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Meteorologists advise all guests of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" arts festival to pack a swimsuit and an umbrella. The Vitebsk Regional Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring ("Vitebskoblgidromet") shared the preliminary weather forecast for the festival period with a BELTA correspondent. Throughout the festival week from July 9 to 15, forecasters promise warm weather with short summer showers. Warm air masses from the Black Sea are heading to the capital of the "Slavianski Bazaar," and high atmospheric pressure will prevail. Most days will be sunny and hot, sometimes reaching up to 30 degrees Celsius. On the opening day of the festival, July 9, a short-term rain is possible. The temperature at night will be 12-17 degrees Celsius, and during the day - 23-28 degrees Celsius. On the weekend of July 10-11, there will be no precipitation. However, one should never forget about rain in festival Vitebsk, as July is the rainiest summer month. By the way, the rainiest day during the festival was on July 23, 1993 - then 70% of the monthly precipitation norm fell, or 6.5 buckets of water per 1 sq. m.
