Representatives of Vitebsk region awarded state honors
The Order of Honour has been awarded to Valeryan Matskevich, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Union of War Veterans in Afghanistan, and Viktor Slavyetsky, General Director of the Vitebsk Concern "Meat and Dairy Products".
A total of 96 workers from various fields have been awarded state decorations. The corresponding Decree was signed by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko. This is reported by the official Internet portal of the Head of State.
The orders, medals, and honorary titles have been conferred for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, exemplary performance of official duties, significant personal contribution to the development of the agro-industrial and petrochemical complexes, the energy system, industry, housing and communal services, road management, and the construction sector, as well as for considerable achievements in the fields of transport, trade, education, and culture.
