The Grand Prix of the children's competition "Vitebsk-2019" was won by Belarusian Ksenia Galetskaya
This evening, the owner of the golden lyre will perform on the main festival stage with stars of Belarusian and Russian pop music.
The first prize winner was Angela Albertyan (Armenia). The second place was shared by Artur from Ukraine and Anastasia Barbe from Moldova. Anna (Georgia) and Kira Gogoladze (Russia) took the third step of the podium.
Regardless of how the prizes were distributed, each participant represented their country with dignity. It should be reminded that representatives of 21 countries competed for victory in the International Children's Music Competition "Vitebsk-2019"; India and Ireland delegated their participants for the first time.
Moreover, the performances of all young artists made only a positive impression on the audience and jury members, making it clear that these "little stars" have every chance to become truly highly professional pop artists in the future. And these boys and girls today possess the necessary talent and aspiration to conquer new heights.
– Children are at the center of a huge team – composers, stylists, managers, and others who work to make a budding artist a star. But it is important not to forget that they are also children, – emphasized the chairman of the jury, the world-renowned Swedish singer and musician Bosson.
At the same time, composer and producer Helena Švilpe from Latvia, who also joined the jury, emphasized the uniqueness of the Vitebsk children's competition with its international scale and the careful attitude towards young talents in Belarus, which she observed within the framework of "Slavianski Bazaar".
– Having extensive experience working in America, including as a jury member in various projects, I want to say that there is no children's competition like the one at the "Slavianski Bazaar" festival. The uniqueness of the forum is also in the fact that people coming to Vitebsk from different continents not only make friends, creatively and emotionally inspire each other, but also find themselves, and can see the path for their further development, – Helena summarized.
