G. Rapota considers it possible for the Union State to participate in the implementation of innovative programs of the Vitebsk region

July 15, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Projects of the innovative development program of the Vitebsk region may receive support from the Union State. This was announced today at a press conference dedicated to the Day of the Union State at the International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" by State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota, a BELTA correspondent reports. During a meeting with Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Kosinets, issues of possible participation of the Union State in the implementation of some innovative development programs of the Vitebsk region were discussed. In particular, the discussion concerned programs in the field of biotechnology, energy saving, and IT technologies, Grigory Rapota said. "These areas are beneficial for both Belarus and Russia, so during discussions in the governments, we intend to determine which of them can be financed from the budget of the Union State," Grigory Rapota said. The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee will present the State Secretary with a package of documents on the innovative development programs of the Vitebsk region. -0-
