A large consignment of aluminum alloy has been detained in the Lepel district, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Department's Information and Public Relations Department informed a BELTA correspondent. Late at night, on the Vitebsk-Minsk highway, traffic police officers of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, near the district center, detained a MAZ-MAN truck with a semi-trailer driven by a resident of Vileyka born in 1987. Without the appropriate accompanying documents, the driver was transporting 20 tons of secondary aluminum alloy worth Br340 million. The cargo has been detained. The materials on this fact have been sent to the Novopolotsk inter-district department of the State Control Committee's Financial Investigations Directorate of the Republic of Belarus.-0-
