The State Customs Committee of Belarus extends the hotline on customs declaration issues until January 14
January 5, Minsk /BelTA/. The State Customs Committee of Belarus is extending the operation of its hotline on issues related to changes in the forms of transit declarations and goods declarations, as well as the classifiers used for their completion, until January 14. This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the State Customs Committee.
This decision was made due to the large number of questions received on this topic, the committee noted. Previously, it was planned that the hotline would operate from January 1 to January 6, 2011, but now this period has been extended until January 14. By calling the multi-channel telephone number +375-17-219-41-00, foreign economic activity entities can receive answers to questions related to the procedure for customs declaration and release of goods.
In addition, RUP "Beltamozhservice" has also organized a hotline on issues of working with the AS "Declarer" software.
It is worth recalling that from January 1, 2011, new forms of goods declarations and transit declarations have been introduced in the Customs Union. The new rules for filling out customs declarations apply to legal entities and business entities that present their goods for customs clearance. Thus, a unified structure of electronic copies has come into effect. Previously, each country of the Customs Union had its own structure of customs declarations. Now it is unified, filled out and controlled according to the same rules, and submitted in a uniform form, identical throughout the territory of all three countries of the Customs Union.
The hotline has been organized to assist legal entities with customs clearance under the new rules. -0-
