Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko arrived in Vitebsk

Guests have started arriving in Vitebsk. Among the first was the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko. He was met at the airport by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.

The day before, during negotiations between the head of the Leningrad Region and the President of Belarus, Alexander Drozdenko noted that he had high expectations for the upcoming Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia. In particular, it is planned to sign cooperation agreements and find new partners in various fields.

– Vitebsk Region and Leningrad Region have established contacts in science, education, cultural life, and industry. In particular, the enterprise "Polimerkonstruktsiya," which specializes in the production of water treatment equipment, has one of its largest contracts with the Leningrad Region. I would like such ties and projects to strengthen, and financial instruments for their support to be found from both the Union State and our two countries, – noted Alexander Subbotin.

Alexander Drozdenko will take part in several sections related to healthcare, interregional, and economic cooperation.
