This opinion was expressed today at the solemn ceremony of opening the BELTA photo exhibition "90 Years Together with the Country" and the presentation of the photo album of the same name in Vitebsk by the Director General of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency, Dmitry Zhuk, BELTA reports. This is confirmed by about 300 photographs included in the album and partially presented at the exhibition. The pictures taken by the correspondents of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency cover the period from 1918 to 2008. It is noteworthy that most of them are portraits of people, reflecting their emotions, desires, and love for their Motherland. Through photographs, it is most clearly seen how and what Belarusians lived by in different epochal periods, what they strived for, Dmitry Zhuk noted. The exhibition will run in the city on the Dvina until March 6, and then will continue its journey through the regional centers of Belarus. Presentations of the exhibition and photo album have already taken place in Minsk, Gomel, and Mogilev. -0-
