Igor Sergeenko also familiarized himself with the living and educational conditions of the children. The school has an academic and dormitory building, a sports hall, sewing and carpentry workshops, a library, a computer class, and a winter garden. The territory includes a mini-farm, a year-round greenhouse, and hotbeds.
"The state provides significant support to children who, for various reasons, find themselves in difficult social situations. Good conditions are created for them, they are surrounded by care and attention. The educational and labor process is organized at the proper level. The children are active and cheerful," noted Igor Sergeenko.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives did not come empty-handed: he presented the institution with tools for mowing grass, which are necessary during the summer season.
The institution is home to 81 pupils (63 orphans and children left without parental care, 18 children are studying at the request of their parents), including 23 children with disabilities. All pupils are provided with five meals a day and educational materials.
An unscheduled stop on Igor Sergeenko's route was the S. Mankovich Begoml Secondary School and the local kindergarten located opposite.
The kindergarten has 7 groups. It has everything necessary to ensure the comprehensive development of a pupil's personality in accordance with their age and individual capabilities, abilities, and needs.
"The conditions are practically ideal," said the Speaker of the House of Representatives about the Begoml kindergarten.
Following the working trip to the Dokshytsy district, Igor Sergeenko noted the high level of work organization in the region.
"I would like to note that this region is an example for other districts of the Vitebsk region in terms of work organization and order, including in the agricultural sector," he said.
