Igor Kornelyuk was impressed by the scale of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival
July 15, Vitebsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. People's Artist of Russia, Honored Art Worker of Russia Igor Kornelyuk was amazed by the scale of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival organization. He announced this today during a star hour, BELTA correspondent reports.
"I am looking at all this with my eyes wide open in amazement," said Igor Kornelyuk. "It seems to me that the festival organizers are if not gods, then deputy gods for organizing festivals on Earth." The famous singer and composer could not hide his admiration: "How can small Vitebsk withstand such a mighty landing?! Just look at the poster, the number of concerts! It's simply fantastic."
As for "Eurovision," according to Igor Kornelyuk, this song contest has outlived itself. "Eurovision" has degenerated into a show: animals come on stage, a ballet dances, scenography with wind machines - all this distracts from the song." Igor Kornelyuk's second strong impression from his trip to Vitebsk is the fulfillment of his long-held dream. He was fortunate enough to finally visit Polotsk and venerate the relics. "I felt simply heavenly grace, I've been smiling constantly since yesterday - a bright feeling hasn't left me," said Igor Kornelyuk.
