Anatol Yarmolenko's star was unveiled on the Alley of Stars of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival.

The Alley of Stars of "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" was replenished this year with a new star named after Anatoly Yarmolenko.

The named cornflower, a long-time friend of "Slavianski Bazaar", became the 18th on the Alley of Stars. People's Artist of Belarus and head of the Honored Collective of Belarus ensemble "Syabry" Anatoly Yarmolenko will receive the special prize of the President "Through Art – to Peace and Understanding" this year. The name of the renowned Belarusian artist not only shines brightly in the constellation of stars in the history of national performing arts but also directly associates with the stage of the Blue-Eyed Land. "Alesya", "A Ya Lyagu-Pryalyagu", "Shumite Beryozy" – beloved and heartfelt compositions that one wants to sing in any mood, and especially in good company of loyal friends.

Anatoly Yarmolenko noted that he is very proud and happy to receive such an award, but one of the songs of "Syabry" – "Our songs are like our life" – will speak better than any words, which he performed at the ceremony with his native ensemble.
