The name of the People's Artist of Georgia and Russia, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, will be immortalized on the Star Square of the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk International Arts Festival. This was announced by the forum's director, Alexander Sidorenko.
The singer participated in the festival more than once and headed the international jury of the pop song performers' competition. For her sake, the maestro of French music, Michel Legrand, came to Vitebsk, who performed on the stage of the Summer Amphitheater together with Tamara Gverdtsiteli.
This year, the artist will sing at the opening of the Slavianski Bazaar, where she will be awarded the special prize of the President of Belarus "Through Art – to Peace and Understanding". The concert will be preceded by the ceremony of laying Tamara Gverdtsiteli's nameplate on the Star Square.
