India is ready to join the privatization process in Belarus
March 19, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. India is ready to join the privatization process in Belarus. This was stated today by the new Ambassador of India to Belarus Ramesh Chandra at the international economic forum "Investment Initiatives of the Vitebsk Region", answering a question from a BELTA correspondent.
"More and more Indian companies are investing in various projects abroad. India has sufficient funds and human resources for this. And this process should not bypass Belarus, as a good scientific and technical base has been developed here," Ramesh Chandra said.
He also noted that good relations have been established between India and Belarus, there are no political problems, and trade turnover is constantly growing. At the same time, it is planned to increase it to $500 million by 2010. "Now our efforts should focus on further deepening economic relations. There is great potential for this," the new ambassador emphasized. -0-
