The topic was discussed during a meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus, Ms. Sangita Bahadur, and the General Director of the Vitebsk Culture Center, Gleb Lapitsky, his Deputy for Advertising and Public Relations, Yulia Vailunova-Shinkevich, Head of the International Cooperation Department, Svetlana Avdeeva, and Head of the "Center for National Cultures" branch, Alisa Stukanova.

The Vitebsk Culture Center notes that the plans of both parties include holding an India Day in Vitebsk and the participation of representatives of Indian culture and art in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vitebsk Culture Center in January 2021.
From the Directorate of the International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk," India received an invitation to participate in the arts forum next year, as well as in the "Art Parade" festival-competition.
