Individual entrepreneurs in the Republic of Belarus will be able to sell light industry goods without documents confirming their purchase until January 1, 2016.
This was announced on Tuesday, March 17, following a meeting on the regulation and development of certain types of entrepreneurial activity by the Prime Minister of Belarus, Andrei Kobyakov.

Working without documents is extended until January 1, 2016. After January 1, 2016, working only with documents, — Andrei Kobyakov emphasized. — During the year, the VAT rate will be increased in equal installments three times, from 2 to 4”.Andrei Kobyakov stressed that the authorities invite individual entrepreneurs to cooperate in the issue of forming the assortment of wholesale bases. In the near future, structures will be determined that will be engaged in the preparation and import of wholesale batches of goods.
The government and local authorities will carry out relevant work, study demand, and organize the normal import of goods for sale at wholesale bases and warehouse stores.

So that these goods have all the documents and, most importantly, that they are in demand by you”, — said the Prime Minister, addressing individual entrepreneurs. The measures that will be taken to prevent the sale of goods without documents will become the main barrier to smuggling, the head of government summarized.
