Novopolotsk's "Lyubava" plans to launch innovative production together with a Polish enterprise
The family business of Novopolotsk spouses Vyacheslav Malinovsky and Lyubov Malysheva, under the general name "Lyubava," which unites several subsidiaries, has long become one of the brands of the Vitebsk region and the country as a whole. These sewn and knitted items combine quality, current design, and comfort, which is why they have become loved by domestic and foreign buyers. Imported equipment is installed in the workshops, and modern technologies are implemented. Production volumes are quite high – for example, over the past year, products worth 72.3 billion rubles were produced, and the growth rate was 142.8 percent.
However, business can only be successful if it constantly develops, and its organizers seek new niches, sales markets, and opportunities for self-realization. Novopolotsk industrialists are convinced of this. Therefore, at one time, they approached the well-known Polish company "Gatta," which specializes mainly in the production of seamless underwear and tights, with a proposal for cooperation. And today, there are agreements that "Lyubava" will produce finished products from their semi-finished goods, which, by the way, will be innovative products for Novopolotsk residents.
It is planned to organize trial production at the facilities of the subsidiary enterprise "LyubavaLUX" in the urban settlement of Borovukha.
– We are currently processing the necessary documentation and purchasing some equipment, part of which we are acquiring ourselves, and part will be supplied by the Polish investor, – says Vyacheslav Malinovsky. – We are already exploring the market: we are currently selling a batch of imported products through our own chain of branded stores. It is important to find out what exactly the consumer will like. After all, the range of the Polish company is quite wide: women's seamless underwear, bodysuits, tights, socks, booties, and more. We hope to launch production by next autumn. If this project proves successful and the products are in demand, then in the future, we plan to build a whole factory with 500-600 jobs – we will produce women's tights.
We plan to sell the new products in Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan – markets where our "Lyubava" has already earned customer trust. But first and foremost, we want Belarusian women to have the opportunity to replenish their wardrobes with clothing from well-known European brands, of good quality and at an affordable price. In addition, this is an excellent message for the development of domestic knitwear production and the light industry as a whole.
