Innovative methods for diagnosing skin cancer and anti-wear materials. For their developments, 6 postgraduate students from Vitebsk region became scholarship holders
Anastasia Girinskaya and Anna Marudova from VSU named after P. Masherov were among the most promising researchers whose scientific works have been published in leading scientific publications, presented at republican and international symposiums, and have significant practical importance.
Thus, thanks to Anastasia, an innovative psychodiagnostic technique appeared in the educational process, as well as a program for psychological support of students involved in sports, which allows increasing the effectiveness of the training process and reducing the costs of athlete training. Anna received support from the head of state for studying the zoonymic system of Belarusian Poozerye.
Denis Zhurov (VSAVM) identified some patterns of changes in poultry kidneys in diseases of various etiologies, determined the criteria, thereby significantly simplifying and reducing the time for diagnosis, which allows ensuring the safety of poultry populations in veterinary practice with minimal costs.
Anastasia Gushcha (PSU) developed new nanocomposite lubricating materials with increased load-carrying capacity, improved anti-wear and anti-friction properties.
The result of Natalia Kolchanova's (VSMU) dissertation research was the introduction into medical practice of an innovative method for diagnosing purulent-inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region, and Andrey Prokoshin from the same university obtained new data on some features of primary skin melanoma and proposed using them as criteria for early diagnosis of this oncopathology.
