Inspection of the Verkhnedvinsk butter and cheese factory by EU experts successfully completed

Another inspection of the Verkhnedvinsk butter and cheese factory and the agricultural enterprises of the district supplying it with raw materials by EU experts has been successfully completed, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Eduard Demyanov told a BELTA correspondent. "The mission was completed positively," Eduard Demyanov quoted the statement of official representatives of the expert group. Written results of the inspection will be provided within a month - such is the procedure. According to Eduard Demyanov, after such a statement, Verkhnedvinsk enterprises can count on confirmation of the compliance of their product quality with high veterinary safety requirements, which will give them the opportunity to expand their markets to Europe. As reported earlier, Belarus has already passed several stages necessary to obtain the right to supply dairy products to the EU. In particular, the Verkhnedvinsk butter and cheese factory was the first in Belarus to receive certificates of compliance with the quality management system LST EN ISO 9001:2008 and food safety LST EN ISO 22000:2005. -0-
