The 'Golden Age Institute' is opening in Novopolotsk

Its uniqueness lies in the fact that elderly people will be sitting at desks. The institute offers several areas, namely, educational, cultural and leisure, physical activity and healthy lifestyle, moral and spiritual. The complex of classes will help Novopolotsk residents of venerable age to replenish their knowledge, maintain good physical shape, and find an interesting hobby.

This project will be launched on the basis of the city territorial center for social services for the population. Enrollment of future "students" began on August 20. The training period is from October 1 to April 30. The main goal of the initiative is to provide social and psychological support to elderly citizens and people with disabilities, in a way that is modern, interesting, and informative.
