An instructor-methodological meeting on conscription for active military service and reserve service was held in Vitebsk
In accordance with the Plan for the conscription of citizens for active military service and service in the reserve in September-November 2024, on October 9, an instructor-methodological meeting was held at the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, led by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee – Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Conscription Commission Vyacheslav Durnov, with members of the regional, chairmen and members of district (city) conscription commissions on the organization and conduct of the conscription of citizens for active military service and service in the reserve in September-November 2024.
At the meeting, the requirements of regulatory legal acts on the organization of conscription were explained, and the features and procedure for conducting the next conscription were communicated with the setting of relevant tasks.
The main ways and directions for improving the system of conscription of citizens for active military service and service in the reserve, and the activities of officials of local executive and administrative bodies, military commissariats of the Vitebsk region for its implementation were identified. In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed problematic issues in the organization and conduct of conscription events.
