Vitebsk intellectuals joined the "Mozgoboynya" project
Intellectuals of Vitebsk have joined the free corporate project "Mozgoboynya" and will hold their second meeting today, the project organizer and host in Vitebsk, Rinat Karimov, told a BELTA correspondent.
"Mozgoboynya" is a version of logic, quick-wittedness, and erudition games that is freer and more relaxed than the sports version of "What? Where? When?". Teams, united by common work or hobbies, meet in the evening at cafe or club tables and play 7 rounds of seven questions in a relaxed atmosphere. Almost fifty questions are designed so that the brain is not overloaded with difficult tasks, but merely kept in shape.
"It all started in Vilnius, where such gatherings originated. Then our friends from Minsk, Alexander Khanin and Ekaterina Maksimova, caught the idea of holding "Mozgoboynya" in Minsk. In a couple of years, the project has developed to such an extent that it is already difficult for the organizers to seat teams at the game tables even in the largest Minsk clubs," said Rinat Karimov.
He came up with the idea of promoting the project in his hometown. The initiative was supported by the Minsk organizers, who also provided a package of questions for their friends in the region. And on October 9, the game started in Vitebsk. The city on the Dvina became the second in the republic after the capital where local intellectuals can relax after a workday or studies in the company of like-minded people and combine business with pleasure.
The first game, which took place in the city's anti-cafe, caused a great stir. 10 teams played, but there were more applicants. Therefore, for the second meeting, the organizers found a larger venue. They are confident that the city's youth will appreciate the new entertainment and the number of participants will grow with each new game.
