Internet challenges and a regional poetry, drawing, and photo contest: in the Vitebsk region, the BRSM is launching projects dedicated to Mother's Day

On the eve of Mother's Day, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union is launching the #wordsfirstused internet challenge. To participate, you just need to post a photo of your mother from her childhood or youth and recreate it as accurately as possible by taking a photo of yourself. Then, post a collage or two photos in your story on social media, tag the @brsm.by account, and pass the baton to three friends.

From October 12 to 16, the regional competition for the best photograph, drawing, and poem is being held. "Anyone aged 14 to 31 can participate in three nominations – for the best poem, drawing, and photograph. For example, to take part in the 'Best Poem' nomination, you need to send a work of your own composition, from 4 to 24 rhyming lines, to the organizers' email address. The 'Best Photograph' nomination accepts works that reveal the theme of motherhood, and photos can be either color or black and white. The 'Best Drawing' nomination is perhaps the most creative. Here, the author is not limited in almost anything: neither in format nor in the technique of execution. All participants can find more detailed terms and conditions for the competition on our online resources," said Vyacheslav Krol, First Secretary of the regional committee of the BRSM.

In Glubokoye, the "Breakfast for Mom" internet challenge has been organized. "Preparing breakfast for mom is a great way to show your care and set a wonderful mood for the whole day. Even simple dishes like fluffy pancakes, French toast, or omelets will be enough to show your appreciation. If you prepare and serve it all with love, your mom will surely remember this day," say the challenge organizers. To participate in the challenge, you just need to film the cooking process (or take a photo of the breakfast) and post this video on your Instagram page with the hashtags #BRSMGlubokoye #BreakfastForMom. Absolutely anyone can join the challenge.

Actions and events dedicated to Mother's Day will take place in the Vitebsk region from October 12 to 18.
