Online entertainment guides may appear in Vitebsk by the "Slavianski Bazaar"

May 13, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. An online competition of programs and routes for city entertainment venues has started in Vitebsk on the eve of the Slavianski Bazaar International Arts Festival, the organizers of the project, the Micron studio, told a BELTA correspondent. Participants of the competition are invited to develop one-day, multi-day and tourist programs for staying in Vitebsk and the region, taking into account their own experience. The facilities that will be in the spotlight of guests can be very diverse - from historical attractions to restaurants and nightclubs. At the same time, the competition organizers have not forgotten about the need to create a guide to city entertainment venues and offer participants to compile a selection of recommendations on where to go in Vitebsk besides festival concerts, what to see, where and what to try and buy. The more detailed and useful the competition project is for vacationers, the more chances it has to win and receive a prize. Works for the competition will be accepted until June 7. Online voting will take place within a week, and after the winners are determined, everyone will be able to get acquainted with the best projects on the city's business portal in open access. The Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Department of Ideological Work of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee supported this project. As Denis Glutkin, head of the city executive committee's department of ideological work, noted in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent, such a competition will allow informing guests and residents of the city about popular leisure and recreation places, and about the best catering establishments and hotels from the visitors' point of view. An unbiased opinion on the city's recreation and tourism infrastructure will help form an information field around the regional center and will serve as a good incentive for tourism business entities to improve themselves. In addition, tourist companies will be able to take the best projects as a basis for creating new routes, Denis Glutkin believes. -0-
