This point of view was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Belarus, Christoph Weil. The Ambassador is on a working trip to the Vitebsk region. As the Ambassador was able to see for himself, the Belarusian market is of interest to German business circles. The Investment Forum provided them with an opportunity to learn about Belarus's potential. "It is important for German business to understand what economic and investment processes are taking place in Belarus, and their stability," the diplomat added. The Head of the Representative Office of the German Economy in the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Avgustinsky, added that the signing of almost 20 agreements worth $2.7 billion indicates that Belarus is an important partner for Germany. He is confident that business contacts need to be developed. The program of the FRG Ambassador's stay includes negotiations with the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, as well as with representatives of the FEZ "Vitebsk". A visit to the enterprise "Vitella", a resident of the FEZ "Vitebsk", is planned. It is expected that on November 24, the Ambassador will attend the opening of the investment forum "Your Business".
