Investment forums in the Vitebsk region will be held four times a year, the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, announced today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. In the managers' calendar, January, April, July, and October will now be marked as months of business activity. It is at this time that it has been decided to present the region's business projects and invite potential investors to discuss them. According to Alexander Kosinets, this will contribute to the development of business initiative and attracting investors. For the upcoming investment forum in October, the chairman of the regional executive committee instructed peat processing enterprises to prepare a presentation of their products. "Peat producers need to increase exports to 200 thousand tons of peat, and for this, they need to present their products more widely," believes Alexander Kosinets. This year, two investment forums have already been held in the region - in March and July. The most significant projects for the region were presented at them, and agreements totaling more than $350 million were concluded. -0-
