The investment program of Vitebsk for 2017 has been approved with a funding volume of over Br26.3 million. This information is contained in the decision of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies dated December 28, 2016, No. 178, published on the National Legal Internet Portal.

About Br26.306 million of the city budget funds are allocated for the construction, reconstruction, design, and modernization of communal property objects. At the same time, it is planned to allocate over Br16 million to communal services. Among other sectors, the main objects of financing include the construction of the Palace of Ceremonial Rites in Vitebsk, a polyclinic in the YUG-7 microdistrict, a kindergarten and a school in the Bilevo-2 microdistrict, the construction and reconstruction of the zoo, the reconstruction of the Vitebsk concert hall, etc. The program is designed to ensure the rational use of the Vitebsk city budget funds allocated for investment in fixed assets.

The main directions of the document are the effective use of the city budget funds for capital construction needs, the concentration of budget funds on facilities commissioned in 2017, as well as facilities with a high degree of readiness. Control over the implementation of this decision is entrusted to the standing commission of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies for urban economy, management of communal property, transport and communications. The decision enters into force after its official publication.
