Irina Dorofeeva will perform a new song about Belarus at the "Slavianski Bazaar"

July 15, Vitebsk /Corr. BELTA/. The premiere of the song "Love and Joy of Belarus" by Alexandra Pakhmutova and Nikolai Dobronravov, performed by Honored Artist of Belarus Irina Dorofeeva, will take place today at the concert of Belarusian performers at the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". The singer announced this today at a press conference, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. This year, Irina Dorofeeva released her solo album "I Live in a Protected Land". "These are songs written by our classics Yevgeny Glebov and Mikhail Tanich. The album includes hits by wonderful Soviet authors who have nurtured the spirit of patriotism and love for our great country in generations for many years," she said. According to the singer, "Slavianski Bazaar" continues the traditions of unity and friendship. She expressed gratitude to those performers who prefer to sing songs in Belarusian. "This is important for preserving our national traditions, Belarusian culture. And when foreign contestants, among others, perform Belarusian songs, it is an example and an incentive for all artists, primarily for the younger generation," believes Irina Dorofeeva. The performer also announced that by the end of this year, another album of hers will be released - "River on Fire". It will feature about 20 new compositions by Belarusian authors. -0-
