Italian businessmen will discuss the possibilities of creating a transport and logistics center in Vitebsk

A delegation from the province of Bergamo (Italy) today began exploring the investment potential of enterprises in the Vitebsk region, the deputy chairman of the economics committee - head of the investment policy and foreign economic relations department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Konstantin Cherny, told a BELTA correspondent. Italian businessmen expressed interest in studying the conditions for foreign enterprises operating in the "Vitebsk" free economic zone, as well as promising projects in the field of tourism and logistics. In particular, the governor of the province, Valerio Bettoni, and the management of Vitebsk Airport intend to hold negotiations on organizing the activities of a transport and logistics center. It is expected that a protocol on cooperation will be signed following the visit. The visit will last from February 12 to 14. -0-
