Italian businessmen are interested in the investment potential of the Chashniki district, the head of the ideological work department of the Chashniki District Executive Committee, Tatyana Pchelka, told a BELTA correspondent. The representative delegation that visited the Chashniki district included the chairman of the Italian Logistics Association, Domenico Netti, heads of large companies producing cosmetic products and personal hygiene items, ventilation equipment, and logistics firms. The guests visited the Lukomlskaya GRES, large industrial and food enterprises of the district, and held meetings with representatives of local enterprises and organizations. Familiarization with the activities and products of Chashniki enterprises evoked a very positive response from Italian businessmen and a desire to cooperate, Tatyana Pchelka noted. Thus, potential investors expressed their readiness to promote the products of the Novolukomlsky dairy plant in the Italian market after improving its packaging in accordance with international standards. The Chashniki inter-district trading base interested them as a logistics platform for promoting Belarusian and Italian goods in the European market. Opportunities for creating a joint venture for fish processing, building health resorts, and putting unused areas of Chashniki organizations into circulation were widely discussed. Currently, the details and prospects for the implementation of these projects are being discussed with Italian investors, Tatyana Pchelka added. -0-
