The results of the third working semester of the Vitebsk region were summarized in Novopolotsk
— The regional committee of the BRSM thanks the regional and city executive committees, as well as the administrations of Vitebsk and district executive committees, educational institutions of the region for their constant attention, help and support in such a difficult but necessary task as organizing the activities of student teams, — said Vladimir Babichev, the first secretary of the regional committee of the BRSM. — Special words of gratitude go to employers and heads of organizations. It is not easy, troublesome, and responsible to accept teams. But, believe me, the youth will justify all hopes, and will apply their first labor skills for the benefit of our society and state.
Important. The BRSM student team movement is one of the main areas of the organization's activity. According to the results of the labor semester, over 5 thousand people were employed in the Vitebsk region. The guys worked as part of construction, agricultural, pedagogical, environmental, service, medical, and production student teams. Young men and women from the Vitebsk region were involved in the All-Belarusian Youth Construction "City of Youth-2021", the youth production labor project "Atlant-2021", the All-Russian Youth Construction "Kuzbass 300", the republican agricultural labor project "Tolochin", the construction of socially significant objects of the region, etc.
During the solemn ceremony of summing up the results of the regional competition "Labor Semester-2021", the names of the winners based on the results of their work were announced. Thus, Vadim Lozhechnik, commander of the construction squad "Evrika" named after Hero of the Soviet Union Viktor Eronko, and Boris Morozov, commander of the construction squad "Ritm" named after Hero of the Soviet Union Petr Kupriyanov, were awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Regional Executive Committee for the effective organization of student squad activities and the development of the student squad movement in the Vitebsk region. Vladislav Konokhov, commander of the construction squad "Zodchiye" named after the leader of the Komsomol movement, the first builder of the city of Novopolotsk, Petr Blokhin, was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation of the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee for the effective organization of student squad activities and the development of the student squad movement in the Vitebsk region.
The student year-round squad "Medik" named after Hero of the Soviet Union Zinaida Tusnolobova-Marchenko was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Main Department of Health of the Regional Executive Committee for responsible and conscientious attitude to work, and for providing medical care to patients with COVID-19.
In the nomination "Best Employer" (a business entity employing a student squad), the following were recognized: the agricultural branch "Vesna-Energo" of RUP "Vitebskenergo", the Polotsk State Professional Lyceum of Agricultural Production, the branch "Teplichny" of RUP "Vitebskenergo",
RUPTP "Orsha Linen Mill", OJSC "Novoselki-Luchai".
After the solemn event, the participants visited various interactive locations, took memorable photos in themed photo zones, and assembled jigsaw maps of Belarus for speed. Fighters of medical student squads measured blood pressure and oxygen levels for everyone who wished, and participants of agricultural squads held a master class in harvesting. Also on this day, educational intensives, a training on commissar activities, a "Karaoke Battle", and other exciting and useful events were held.
