Избиратели в Витебске в день выборов окунутся в атмосферу "Славянского базара"

Vitebsk voters will immerse themselves in an atmosphere of creativity and general celebration on election day, traditionally accompanying the "Slavianski Bazaar" arts festival. This was reported by the main department of ideological work, culture, and youth affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

The main stage venues of the regional center will delight the public with bright and diverse concert and entertainment programs on election day, October 11. The "Vitebsk" Cultural Center, where polling station No. 17 is located, will open the celebration with the concert "Cornflower Country." The youngest participants of the exemplary pop song studio "Forum" and the exemplary dance ensemble "Egoza" have prepared a program for guests, which will include performances in folk and pop genres. "Garezlivyye perezvony" is the name of the second concert, which will begin at 13:00.

The folk dulcimer ensemble will perform folk and classical works for the audience. A gala concert of artists and ensembles of the Philharmonic Society, "A Bow to You, My Belarusian Land," awaits voters who come to the two polling stations located in this institution. At the "Pervomaysky" Cultural and Business Center, the festive program includes a children's concert, a performance by a folk choir, and a landscape exhibition. Students of the State College of Culture and Arts and ensembles of the I. Solertinsky Music College have prepared classical and pop numbers for those voting at polling stations in their institutions.

Concert programs at all venues will primarily take place from 11:00 to 16:00. Similarly, in other major cities of the region, in addition to short one-hour concerts at each polling station, festive programs featuring a number of ensembles and performers will be prepared in central cultural institutions. In rural areas, local cultural centers are responsible for voter entertainment, and artists from district centers are also involved; where necessary, mobile clubs will be deployed. In general, this work involves not only professional cultural workers, folk and exemplary ensembles, but also amateur artists, and self-taught groups from institutions and organizations where polling stations are located, the regional executive committee emphasized.

In addition to concert programs, voters will be able to attend literary and artistic performances, exhibitions and presentations by artists, photographers, folk craft masters, participate in handicraft master classes, and learn about the products of enterprises and pilot productions. Many educational institutions will host exhibitions and fairs of children's creative works.
