The well-known Belarusian company "Mark Formelle" opened a knitwear and clothing production facility and a branded store in Liozno on July 15.

This marks another step in the economic development of the district. At the grand opening of "Mark Formelle's" eleventh production site, the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, emphasized that the creation of modern production facilities in the regions plays a crucial role in the strategy and policy of the regional leadership. It is an effective way to replenish the budget and, most importantly, to engage young people, encouraging them to stay in their homeland rather than seeking happiness in big cities.

The head of the region expressed hope that this production project will not be the last in the urban settlement and district, urged investors to invest more boldly in the economy of the Vitebsk region, and promised them full support.

Company leaders Andrey Serikov and Svetlana Siparova, in the presence of the public and a large number of customers, expressed their gratitude to the leadership of Liozno for their support and understanding in the implementation of the project.

In a record short time, the building of the former "StroyDom" store was fully modernized for production, state-of-the-art equipment was installed, and the adjacent territory was landscaped. The production area is 930 sq. m, including the store area of 150 sq. m.

To study customer demand, knitwear was sold here in a test mode starting from July 5. The planned number of employees for the branch is over 100 people. The creation of new jobs is of great importance for Liozno. If the business thrives, their number will surely increase.

On the same day, the regional leadership visited the construction of the second phase of the Liozno cultural and recreational center.
