An exhibition of educational institutions of the Vitebsk region will be held at the Day of Belarusian Written Language in Glubokoye, reported to BELTA correspondent Ivan Shchurok, head of the education department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The autumn exhibition of educational institutions of the Vitebsk region will open on September 2 on one of the central streets of the city. A wide range of products will be presented to guests and participants of the holiday by schools and vocational education institutions. Educational institutions of the Glubokoye district are preparing for this event with particular enthusiasm. In total, this year the education system of the region has organized four expanded trade fairs, while in previous years their number was two - these were the traditional spring and autumn fairs held in the regional center. In general, the income from extra-budgetary activities of educational institutions in the region for January-July amounted to Br21 billion. Ivan Shchurok also noted that on the eve of the Day of Belarusian Written Language and the new academic year, a significant amount of work has been done to repair all educational institutions in the Glubokoye district. Thus, major repairs of the canteens and academic buildings of schools No. 2 and No. 3 in Glubokoye have been carried out. About Br6 billion was allocated for the reconstruction of the Glubokoye State Vocational Lyceum of Agricultural Production, where the dormitory was actually renovated, windows were replaced, and engineering communications in the academic building were reconstructed. Work at the Plissa Secondary School, where windows were also replaced and the roof was repaired, has been practically completed. -0-
