A job fair for economics students will be held at the business forum in Vitebsk

The Vitebsk State Technological University will organize a presentation of scientific and educational products for business at the international economic forum "Your Business", which will be held in Vitebsk on November 24. The university is also ready to assist private companies in employing future graduates of economic specialties for vacant positions, as reported to BELTA correspondent by Tamara Kasaeva, Head of the Department of Economics, Candidate of Technical Sciences. At the traditional business event, the Vitebsk university will present several independent projects for business for the first time. Thus, during the job fair, forum participants will get acquainted with the potential of students of economic specialties, who in turn will prepare resumes and get the opportunity for direct communication with potential employers. The Technological University will present scientific and educational products that company managers can use to improve efficiency in various areas of business organization and management. "Specialists from our university are ready to conduct educational seminars on personnel management, tax planning, as well as carry out scientific research at the customer's request in various formats," explained Tamara Kasaeva. In addition, interaction with business structures at the forum will give the university an opportunity to solve problems related to students' pre-diploma practice, and to identify possible research objects within the framework of term papers and theses of future economists. Businessmen will be able to assess the quality of training and the relevance of student projects at the presentation of investment business plans and theses completed by graduates of the Vitebsk university. Participation in the business forum will help the university solve a number of tactical tasks of the curriculum and determine possible forms of integration of business and science for the future, noted Tamara Kasaeva. The international economic forum "Your Business" is a platform for business communication, where modern technologies for organizing and conducting business, as well as promising solutions in management and marketing, are presented. This year, representatives of diplomatic missions and business structures from Germany, Slovakia, Russia, and Ukraine have shown interest in the event. For the first time, a subcontracting exchange will be held during the event. Another novelty of the forum will be a business idea exchange, during which presentations of marketing research on the resource potential and promising directions for business development in the rural areas of the Vitebsk region, investment proposals from the region's districts, as well as property complexes, real estate objects, and ready-made businesses planned for sale in the region will be held. Traditionally, during the forum, economic entities will present their products and solutions for a wide range of business services at a specialized exhibition. The educational program of the forum includes four seminars on business fundamentals and entrepreneurship support, modern marketing technologies, management, and the use of information technologies to enhance competitive advantages in a market economy. The organizers of the economic forum are the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the communal consulting unitary enterprise "Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center", and the Vitebsk State Technological University.-0-
