A nursery and kindergarten in the Medtsentr microdistrict of Vitebsk is planned to open by September 1st
A nursery and kindergarten in the Medtsentr microdistrict of Vitebsk is planned to open by September 1. This was announced today to journalists by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, who is participating in the construction of this facility, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"This will be a modern, comfortable institution for children, with a swimming pool, methodological offices, sports and fitness rooms, and all other conditions necessary for the harmonious development of a child," said Alexander Kosinets. In the coming years, it is planned to build another similar kindergarten and a school for 1,000 places in the microdistrict.
"We will have a unified educational complex: nursery - kindergarten - school. By 2015, we must fully equip Medtsentr with all the necessary infrastructure, including a network of pharmacies, cafes, developed transport links, a stadium, sports facilities, and a park area, so that people feel comfortable," emphasized the governor.
The nursery and kindergarten in Medtsentr, designed for 200 children, is being built according to a standard design, similar to the one in the Bilevo microdistrict of the regional center. The construction of the facility began last year and was carried out with sponsorship funds and assistance from enterprises and organizations of the regional center. Br12 billion has already been invested in its construction. The building's shell has been fully erected, engineering communications have been laid, and window units have been installed. Currently, construction work is underway on the roof and interior finishing.
Given the high social significance and considerable cost of the facility (about Br37 billion), the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee allocated Br20 billion of budget funds for its construction this year.
