Young Vitebsk trampolinists brought back medals from the city on the Neva

Pupils of Vitebsk Children and Youth Sports School No. 1 took part in the traditional All-Russian competitions in trampoline jumping, dedicated to the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad, which took place on January 25-26, 2014 in St. Petersburg. Athletes from Russia (cities of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tolyatti, Ivanovo, Rostov-on-Don), Latvia (Riga), and Belarus (Vitebsk) participated in these competitions.

The youngest and best athletes of their age group represented Vitebsk Children and Youth Sports School No. 1: Shedko Polina, Aksamentova Milena, Ershova Ekaterina, Stolyarova Alexandra, Stankevich Sebastian, Orlov Matvey, Builov Andrey, and Gladkikh Anton. For our trampolinists and their coaches, this competition is interesting and important because it provides an opportunity to see how the sport is developing outside our republic, to try out their new free exercises, and to gain competitive experience.

Stankevich Sebastian (coach Vlasova Olga Anatolyevna) won a convincing victory in individual jumps among boys born in 2002-2003. Orlov Matvey took third place on the podium. (Coach Lebedeva Natalia Grigoryevna).

In the youngest age group among boys born in 2004-2005, Builov Andrey (coach Baburina Svetlana Yuryevna) became the winner.

Our girls were no less successful. In individual trampoline jumps, Vitebsk athletes competed for the first and second places: Shedko Polina celebrated victory in the age group 2002-2003, and Ershova Ekaterina took second place (coaches Vlasova O.A. and Baburina S.Yu.).

In the age group 2004-2005, Stolyarova Alexandra became the winner, and Aksamentova Milena took second place (coach Vlasova O.A.).

In synchronized jumps among boys, the pair Orlov Matvey - Stankevich Sebastian celebrated victory, while Gladkikh Anton - Builov Andrey became silver medalists.

The women's synchronized pair consisting of Shedko Polina and Ershova Ekaterina became the winners of these competitions, and the pair Aksamentova Milena - Stolyarova Alexandra took third place.
