Young peace envoys from Vitebsk and Moscow regions will gather for a rally in Gorodok district, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
The event will take place from September 20-22 at the suburban health resort "Orion" in the village of Kabishche. More than 70 children, students of 10th-11th grades, from Gorodok and Shumilino districts of Vitebsk region and the urban-type settlement of Dedenyovo, Moscow region, will participate.
The rally program is united by the common theme "The Happiness of Living in a Peaceful Country". One of its main events will be the opening of the first peace school in the Vitebsk region at Secondary School No. 1 in Gorodok, which will take place on September 21 with the participation of representatives of regional and local authorities. The participation of delegations in the opening of the alley of friendship, a thematic scientific and practical conference, an intellectual tournament, and visits to places of military glory are planned. The rally is organized by the Gorodok District Executive Committee, the Vitebsk Regional Branch of the Belarusian Peace Foundation.
