Young firefighter rescuers from Germany share experiences with their peers in the Vitebsk region

A delegation of young firefighter-rescuers from the German city of Nienburg (Weser) is on a week-long visit to the Vitebsk region for an exchange of experience in specialized training, the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

From October 9 to 15, a group of children, accompanied by adult members of the voluntary fire brigade from Germany, are visiting various educational and cultural institutions in the region. In the Vitebsk region, the guests are particularly interested in how work is organized in specialized classes of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (in the field of life safety), for example, they have already visited the Vitebsk Cadet School.

"This familiarization visit was organized at the invitation of our young firefighter-rescuers, who visited the town of Münchehagen in a field camp this summer, where they made friends with German children. Such camps with the participation of schoolchildren from the Vitebsk region are held regularly in Germany. The fact is that our regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is friends with colleagues from the voluntary fire brigade of the city of Nienburg, mutual trips for experience exchange are regularly held, and in recent years, special emphasis has been placed on involving children in the voluntary fire movement," explained the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

An exciting cultural program has also been prepared for the guests, including several excursions around Vitebsk with visits to museums. Also, together with their Belarusian friends, the German children went bowling and visited a go-kart track. They got acquainted with Orsha, where, among other things, they visited an image facility of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the basis of the city children's park "Fairy Tale Land". On October 12, the guests spent time in Polotsk and Novopolotsk, and on October 13, they will return to Vitebsk via Gorodok. This day will be filled mainly with sports events. In conclusion, the guests will visit the ethnographic museum in the village of Zaronovo, Vitebsk region, and play laser tag in a rope park.
