By the end of 2022, the "Vitba" confectionery factory plans to launch another dry breakfast production line
The autonomous enterprise "Sladkaya strana" (Sweet Land), built in the Orshansky district, joined the Vitebsk confectionery factory several years ago. A line for the production of biscuits and glaze, which is supplied to Belarusian manufacturers of ice cream, marshmallows, and other delicacies, operates successfully here. Therefore, Vitebsk confectioners have set a new goal for themselves, and in connection with this, they have begun to prepare for modernization.
– We will be able to double production volumes, – notes the chief technologist of the enterprise, Irina Shevtsova. – Thus, the new line will produce up to 2.4 thousand tons of dry breakfasts and snacks per year and will provide a unique opportunity to experiment with all sorts of natural additives and fillings. By focusing on naturalness and environmental friendliness, we will be able to produce not only the usual shells, balls, and rings for consumers, but also over a dozen new items that have no analogues in taste and shape.
"Vitba" produces more than 50 tons of products per day, half of this volume is dry breakfasts. The new workshop will create up to 60 jobs.
