On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, annually
observed on December 3, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee has launched a
visually impaired version of its website. A special link is located at the top
of the homepage of the internet portal.
In the Vitebsk region, as in the country as a whole, there are many people with poor vision, some of whom suffer from color blindness. The new black-and-white version will allow visually impaired individuals to access information on par with other visitors.
Textual information can be better read by increasing the font size. There is also an option for a colored background for the text.
The visually impaired version is the second option of the website with identical information.
