A principled conversation was held with the heads of agricultural enterprises. The extension of contracts for two of them – Open Joint Stock Company "Knyazh" of the Sharkovshchyna district and the enterprise "Miorsky" of the Miory district – has been postponed. The reason is the lack of positive dynamics in the development of the organizations and the inability to outline further steps to overcome the crisis.

The new director of the republican unitary enterprise "Ustye" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Fyodor Botyanovsky, from the Orsha district, has been tasked with bringing the team to leading positions by creating a training base for the region's agrarians in Ustye. In the near future, the enterprise's management, together with scientists from the Academy of Sciences, will have to work out unified approaches to investment distribution for the enterprise, where pedigree livestock is purchased, and a dairy complex for 2.5-3 thousand head of dairy herd is being created.

The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee has serious concerns about the state of affairs in the agricultural sector of the entire Miory district. If only 30-40% of winter crops were sown by the end of September, and the head explains the reason by the lack of fuel, it is difficult to call what is happening anything other than mismanagement. Missed deadlines mean missed profits. The Chairman of the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Regional Executive Committee, Sergey Dogel, has been instructed to analyze the shortcomings in the work of the agrarian enterprises of Miory region and prepare a meeting on this topic.

This Monday, Pavel Belous, the acting head of the State Institution "Department of Consumer Services of the Vitebsk Region," was approved for appointment. He will have to link the profitable operation of consumer service enterprises with the social role of the consumer sphere so that people are satisfied and say "thank you."
