Svetlana Medvedskaya has been nominated for the position of Head of the Antimonopoly and Price Policy Department of the Regional Executive Committee. Previously, she served as the Head of the Investment and Innovation Department of the Investment Policy and Foreign Economic Relations Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economy Committee. The Chairman instructed the new head to approach price regulation considering the interests of each enterprise after a detailed analysis of the pricing situation in the region.
- We must work for the development of the region's economy, - said Nikolai Sherstnev.
Among those invited for contract renewals are the well-known directors of the Gluboksky and Miory meat processing plants: Anatoly Duk and Viktor Bondarenko. The products of these enterprises are deservedly in demand among consumers, both in domestic and foreign markets. The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee set a task for the directors to increase production volumes, as well as product sales in the city of Minsk. The fact is that the export of meat products to the Russian Federation, due to the continued weakening of the Russian ruble against the US dollar, considering the current price situation in the Russian market, leads to unprofitable operations for the enterprises. Nikolai Sherstnev also drew attention to the fact that the management of the consolidated structure, being created on the basis of OJSC "Polotsk Feed Mill", should be involved in the issue of supplying the Miory meat processing plant with raw materials.
The contract renewals for Petr Skurko, Director of the Postavy Flax Mill, and Sergey Shalukho, Director of the "Luchesa" branch of OJSC "Vitebsk Feed Mill", have been approved.
