Personnel Day with the Chairman: Reserves – in Cost Savings
The demands on the economic unit of the agricultural and food departments of district executive committees by the chairman of the regional executive committee are increasing. It is the economist of the district agricultural and food department who, when appointing a new head of a farm, must present a detailed business plan during an interview with the head of the region, according to which the enterprise head will receive a mandate for further life. Nikolai Nikolaevich Sherstnev emphasized this during the approval of the positions of directors of OJSC "Ivansky-Agro" of Chashniksky district - Igor Moroz and KUPKhP "Gnezdilovo-Agro" of Dokshitsky district - Gennady Portyanko.
The head of the economics department of the Chashniksky district agricultural and food department, Tatyana Makhrova, presenting the action program for OJSC "Ivansky-Agro", named the main problematic indicators from which the new head needs to start working: low milk yields do not allow increasing gross milk production, low milk commercial quality. But the governor wants to hear specific proposals. At the expense of what should the farm grow, what are the mechanisms for reducing the cost of agricultural production? If you plan to increase grain production, then at whose expense?
-
Today, the economist manages the production process. He is the boss both in the field, and in the machine-tractor workshop, and on the farm. What is needed from you is not theoretical calculations, but real practical help, - says Nikolai Sherstnev. A fresh example is how, thanks to the competent decisions of specialists in a farm near Vitebsk, the herd's productivity was increased threefold in a month!
"Gnezdilovo-Agro" is one of the key enterprises in the Dokshitsy district. The new director will have to thoroughly delve into the specifics of agricultural production, ensure the staffing of the dairy herd to increase its productivity, and monitor the performance of each indicator.
Sergei Struy has been managing OJSC "Dovatorsky" in the Sharkovshchina district since 2011. During this time, the gross grain harvest has doubled, and rapeseed by 2.5 times. Yields and milk yields have increased. However, feed supplies are extremely insufficient - only 18.8 centners of feed units per conventional head of cattle. Corn let them down. It is logical to sow this crop with the expectation that the full cycle of technological care will be maintained and all necessary fertilizers will be applied. Then the result will follow. Priority in sowing perennial grasses should be given to pure clover, the return will be much greater, and clover also contributes to nitrogen accumulation in the soil. Economists have calculated that the costs of growing one hectare of clover are 4 times less than growing one hectare of corn. Farms are recommended to increase the sowing of legumes in the grain group.
cultures in their pure form (field peas).
Difficult conditions for crop development are also present on the lands of OJSC "Chernevichi" in the Glubokoye district (director Vladimir Babich). The hilly terrain does not allow for high yield indicators. It is necessary to optimize the structure of sown areas and select crops that are favorable for this landscape.
Production is running smoothly at the "Mnyuto" branch of OJSC "Glubokoye Dairy and Canned Goods Plant" (director Yaroslav Sinkovets). The livestock population, average daily weight gain, and revenue from product sales are growing. Integration with the dairy and canned goods plant demonstrates stable results. An instruction has been given to attach the areas of the neighboring farm to the branch, thereby expanding the fodder base for livestock.
The directors of OJSC "Ptitsфабрика Orshanskaya" Tadeush Borkovsky and OJSC "Izmeritel" - Yuri Reshko were also invited for interviews to agree on the extension of their contracts.
The poultry farm failed to meet egg production targets. Problems with chick supply affected the results. To prevent the situation from recurring, Nikolay Sherstnyov instructed Sergey Dogel, the chairman of the Committee for Agriculture and Food, to select vacant premises for creating a site for a parent flock of laying hens. The region has four poultry farms, but they have to be supplied with chicks from other regions. Creating their own base will help reduce the cost of the final product.
JSC "Izmeritel" produces innovative, science-intensive products. The business of this Novopolotsk enterprise has improved due to its inclusion in a number of important joint Belarusian-Russian programs, including the Union State program.
Irina Shalakova, formerly the chairperson of the Dobeysk rural council of deputies of the Shumilino district, has been appointed as the deputy chairperson of the Shumilino district executive committee, overseeing the social sector.
Nikolay Nikolaevich wished the new deputy chairperson independence in making difficult decisions.
of management decisions.
- Our task is to preserve the work collectives, to turn the situation around so that everyone's real wages depend on their participation in the production process. To look for reserves in cost savings and to think ten times about where to invest any available free ruble, - emphasized the chairman, addressing the heads of the region's organizations.
