How to properly register a land plot and what is the cost?
According to Igor Levenkov, Head of the Land Management Department of the Regional Executive Committee, the possession of title documents is dictated by life itself. In accordance with current legislation, without proper registration of a land plot, it is impossible to alienate a capital building, enter into transactions with it, or register inheritance rights. That is, if an individual or legal entity has any real estate, including land plots, it must be registered in the prescribed manner. The possession of title documents regulates all land-related relations and provides additional guarantees when considering appeals, as well as disputes in courts. In essence, registration is a legal act of state recognition and documentary formalization of the status (legal position) of a particular land plot.
In 2019, specialists systematized all available data on the registration of title documents for land plots granted to citizens for the construction and/or maintenance of a residential building, personal subsidiary farming, haymaking, cattle grazing, gardening, collective horticulture, and for other purposes. In percentage terms, the lowest number of registered land plots are in Sharkovshchinsky (20%), Shumilinsky (24%), Senno (28%), Chashniksky (29%), Dubrovno (30%) districts, and the highest are in Postavy (66%) and Rossony (65%) districts.
Citizens interested in the proper registration of land plots should contact their local executive committee. Land management work will be carried out by a specialized organization under a concluded contract, with service costs ranging from 130 to 360 rubles. To complete the registration procedure, you need to contact the structural unit of RUP "Vitebsk Agency for State Registration and Land Cadastre".
