How to vote in elections at your place of residence?

In accordance with Article 21 of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus, from January 10, 2025, voters have the right to apply to the precinct election commission for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus at their place of registration to clarify whether they are included in the voter list, as well as to check the correctness of the information about them.

If a voter wishes to vote not at their place of registration, they have the right to apply to the precinct election commission for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus at their place of residence during the period from January 10 to January 25, 2025. A citizen can be included in the voter list at their place of residence based on a passport (identification card) of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus and upon presentation of a document confirming residence within the territory of the polling station (e.g., a lease agreement registered with the executive committee, a certificate of ownership of real estate, or another document confirming residence).

Precinct commissions operate:

from January 10 to January 20, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM on weekdays,
from 12 PM to 2 PM on Saturdays;

from January 21 to January 25, 2025, from 12 PM to 7 PM.

On election day, January 26, 2025, inclusion in the voter list for individuals not registered within the territory of the polling station is not provided for by law.
