She noted that Alexander Grigoryevich is well aware of the situation in the Orsha region, as his work in the Vitebsk region became significant for him, a native of the Gomel region: here Alexander Poznyak served as an aide to the head of the region, then as the chairman of the Polotsk City Executive Committee, and held the position of Aide to the President of Belarus – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region.
Natalya Kochanova emphasized that the tasks set for the district remain the same:
– This is the effective work of each enterprise and the region as a whole. Orsha should become an example for other regions of the country in terms of productive functioning of enterprises and organizations in budget formation and social issue resolution.
Natalya Kochanova drew the attention of those present to the increased demands for discipline and order.
– The head of an institution or enterprise must understand the measure of responsibility entrusted to him and do everything possible to ensure that people have salaries and decent working conditions. There will be strict accountability for this, – she emphasized. – If the head is in his place, understands the tasks facing him, and knows how to work with people, then all problems are solvable. In the same economic situation, enterprises function differently. Where the management works with due diligence, the enterprise also achieves success.
Natalya Ivanovna outlined the key role of the chairmen of city and district executive committees.
– They must see the development prospects of the region, clearly know what exactly needs to be done: build social facilities or postpone, overhaul housing or focus on enterprises. And in the future, this will be the approach to selecting personnel for positions – those who have gone through certain career stages, have experience, must show how to implement what is planned. Orsha region has everything necessary to be a flagship of the republic, – she said.
Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev noted that to achieve the set goals, not just one leader should work, but a cohesive team.
– And do it in such a way that the residents of the district feel: there is power, and it really cares about them, deals with pressing issues: wages, employment, prices, etc. This is a serious responsibility, – stated the head of the region.
Nikolai Sherstnev expressed confidence that the new chairman of the district executive committee, approved by the President and unanimously confirmed in office by the deputy corps, having good management experience, knowledge, possessing the necessary qualities and vision of the situation, will play a key role in the formation and development of Orsha region.
Alexander Poznyak, in turn, thanked the head of state for the trust placed in him, emphasizing that the tasks set by the President are not easy, but achievable. The main socio-economic development indicators should be the best in the Vitebsk region.
He noted that the powerful industrial enterprises of the Orsha district, unfortunately, often lack a clear development plan for the future.
– It is necessary to develop a strategy for each plant and the industrial sector as a whole. I see it in connection with agriculture, – said Alexander Poznyak.
He separately discussed the topic of agriculture, noting the high level of land cultivation.
– The Orsha district is favorable for growing agricultural crops. A good harvest is the result of high soil fertility and the invested labor of people, — stated Alexander Poznyak. – For us, as for the entire region, the task set by the President at the conference call is relevant: we need to review the structure of sown areas. Those crops that give the maximum return should be cultivated here. In addition, for grain crops, optimal crop rotation must be observed. All this will yield results, and I am confident that the Orsha region will be a leader.
