The staff of the dental department of the Braslav Central District Hospital celebrated their housewarming
– And not only us, – emphasized the Chairman of the District Executive Committee Alexander Badanin. – Now, our dental clinic is not ashamed to receive foreign patients. Everything here is decent: the interior design, modern equipment, highly qualified staff.
It so happened that when the hospital complex was built at the end of the last century, dentistry was not foreseen. For more than a decade, it was cramped in adapted premises and even in different buildings. Thanks to the support of the Main Department for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee, within the framework of preparation for the regional "Dazhynki" festival, the Central District Hospital was allocated 2 million rubles for improving treatment conditions and landscaping the territory. A significant portion of these funds was used to create a modern dental service. As reported by the chief physician of the district hospital, Alexander Makarevich, 250 thousand were spent on the renovation of the vacated wing on the second floor of the hospital, and another 72 thousand rubles were spent on purchasing equipment. The regional trade union committee took care of the conditions for the medical staff, allocating funds for the arrangement of a recreation room. As a result, Braslav received a wonderful gift, which is expected to boost the Central District Hospital's budget as well.
– The volume of services provided by the medical institution has already tripled compared to the same period last year, – stated the Head of the Main Department for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee, Yuri Derkach. – And this is just the beginning. Braslav dentistry is already one of the leading in the region in terms of staff, equipment, and the possibilities for dental treatment and prosthetics. In the near future, Braslav Hospital will become a regional center for providing medical services to neighboring districts of Belarus and nearby foreign countries. The active re-equipment with new medical equipment is already underway.
The head of the dental department, Vladimir Radzyul, said that there are more than twenty employees in it, doctors and paramedics have high professional qualifications, and young staff are successfully gaining experience. And this means that it is capable of mastering the most modern technologies for treating and prosthetics of teeth. Good reviews are constantly heard in the address of Svetlana Smirnova, Teresa Radzyul, Natalia Shukel, Alena Shishlo and Olga Kislyakova. From the first days of work in the department, the young doctor Ekaterina Leskovskaya has won the respect of patients. Dental technicians, graduates of the Orsha College, Valeria Pipchenko, Artyom Shnitko and Alena Yanovich, are also satisfied with the work of the dental technicians.
Dentists are actively implementing monolithic technology for the production of dental prostheses. Literally on the day of the grand opening of the department, they learned that they would soon have a scanner that would allow them to take a 3D image of the oral cavity, send it to a workshop in Vitebsk, and have the order ready in a few days. This will reduce not only the number of doctor-patient appointments, but also speed up the prosthetics time, making it more convenient. And in their thoughts is already the mastery of implant placement.
