Каляровы сыр пачалі выпускаць у Браславе

The cheese makers of the Glubokoye MKC branch in Braslav have launched a new product that has attracted consumer interest. In 2016, they plan to start producing a hard elite cheese with a long aging period, similar to the Lithuanian variety "Džiugas".

Green and red cheese has appeared on the shelves of several Belarusian stores. Its unusual color attracted the attention of buyers, who asked sellers about the unusual novelty and, of course, wanted to try it. This is what the cheese makers of the Glubokoye MKC branch in Braslav were counting on when they launched their new product, which was supposed to attract consumers to the market oversaturated with traditional cheeses on the eve of the New Year holidays. Which, by the way, they succeeded in doing.

But before the new product appeared on sale, specialists spent several months studying German experience in the production of colored cheeses, mastering their production technology, and adapting their taste qualities to those already popular with buyers. As a result, "Pesto Basilico" cheese with basil and garlic (green) and "Pesto Tomato" with the taste of basil, marjoram, oregano, tomato, and garlic (red) were created. In total, last year, according to the leading technologist Inna Beynar, the new modern enterprise mastered the production of 44 types of products, including those that are not produced anywhere else in Belarus. This is the cream cheese product "Braslavsky Pokhynok" with various additives that create a unique taste and can satisfy any preference. It is no coincidence that it won the Grand Prix at the national competition "Champion of Taste". By the way, in the first year of operation after the large-scale reconstruction of the enterprise, the cheese "Braslavl" took first place at the cheese forum. Last year, at the "Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus" competition, the cheeses "Groytsar" and "Pashkhonsky" were recognized as the best. – In 2016, – shared Inna Aleksandrovna her plans, – we intend to start producing a hard elite cheese with a long aging period, similar to the Lithuanian variety "Džiugas". And we will continue to increase the production of cheeses in demand by buyers, among which last year "Maasdam Grand" led, and we produced 50 tons of it monthly.

The team fell just short of fully mastering the enterprise's capacity, designed for 300 tons of products per month, ensuring a growth rate of 136.7% compared to last year. Moreover, they did not work for stock. Braslav cheeses are gladly purchased by retail chains in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kaliningrad. It was to Russia that over 75% of cheeses were shipped last year, and the overall profitability from their sale was almost 6%.
