Maps of Good Deeds and Media Heart. Youth of the Vitebsk region supported the campaign "For Beloved Belarus!"
– The main goal of the project is to foster a sense of patriotism in young people, instill respect for the traditions, history and culture of the people, universal values, and expand their social circle through joint activities, – noted Vyacheslav Khrol, First Secretary of the Regional Committee of the BRSM.
As part of the campaign, "Maps of Good Deeds" have been created in Vitebsk and Braslav, which will be filled with entries about good deeds performed throughout the year. The addresses of elderly people and large families in need of assistance, as well as territories requiring improvement, will also be posted there. The stories of the maps will be available on the Internet resources of the NGO "BRSM".
In Novopolotsk, a virtual photo project "Knots of My Heart" has been organized as part of the city media project "#Motherland". Participants present photographs of their native and beloved places in Belarus, from which a media heart will subsequently be formed. A team competition "I Love Belarus" is being held among students of schools in the Orsha district in the form of an online game on the social network "VKontakte". Activists of the Polotsk regional committee of the BRSM are conducting a campaign for voluntary blood donation "Helping a Neighbor Unites Hearts".
