This instruction was given today during a direct telephone line with the region's residents by the chairman of the regional executive committee, Alexander Kosinets, a BELTA correspondent reports. "Plans for the repair of houses and streets must be put into every mailbox," the governor demanded. In his opinion, people should know when and within what timeframe the work will be carried out. This will significantly reduce the number of citizen appeals and resolve many issues. For example, in Vitebsk, it is planned to carry out thermal renovation of panel houses built in the 1960s-1970s within 2011-2012, and to carry out their major repairs within the next five years. In general, in the region, it is planned to overhaul 150 thousand square meters of housing in 2011, and demolish 130 apartments in dilapidated houses. -0-
